Story of Emerging Pathways and the logo
Emerging Pathways is the confluence of my story and inspired by my experience of your stories. It is about my path, and the path we will walk together towards growth and healing. Research informs us that attending to our experiences with care and compassion actually forms new neural pathways that increase our sense of health. There is an increased awareness and more connectedness to self and others creating a way to experience the world more fully.
The banyan tree depicted in the logo is native to India, it has aerial roots that grow from branches and reach the ground becoming trunk-like and widening the circle of the tree. It was a place of rest and play for me during my childhood and apart from my personal connection to the tree it also speaks to my hope for us to strengthen, widen and deepen our circles.
