1. How long are therapy sessions?
Therapy sessions are usually 50 minutes. Family sessions might sometimes be scheduled for 90 minutes.
2. What do we charge? /Which insurance do we accept?
Our standard fee is $130, and we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO and Blue Choice PPO.
We currently accept credit card payments. We are considered “out of network” for other insurance carriers and would gladly provide a statement for you to submit to your insurance company or we can submit claims as an out of network provider.
We work with Das Billing for billing purposes. http://dasbillingsolutions.com/
3. Good Faith Estimates
As a client of Emerging Pathways Counseling, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate,” which outlines expected costs for mental health care services. Health care providers must explain costs and provide clients, who do not have insurance or who are not utilizing their in-network insurance benefits, with an estimate of costs for medical items and services.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your therapist at Emerging Pathways Counseling at the beginning or any phase of therapy. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
4. Location
We are currently seeing clients using telehealth platforms and also have a physical location in Elmhurst, IL. We are practicing a hybrid model at this time, one day in-person and two days of telehealth. We can collaborate as per your preference and our availability.
